We loved staying at this hidden gem near Pensilva. the owners, Kath and Ted, were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. the room was well equipped with everything we needed and more. the little details, like having cereal in the room, were a delightful touch. the garden was a perfect place to unwind at night, enjoying the lovely views. We also enjoyed waking up to see the friendly dog and other animals on the property. we couldn't have asked for a better stay. 10/10, would definitely stay here again.
We felt incredibly welcomed at this place, and there was honestly nothing to complain about.

The location of the hotel is ideal for business travelers, with easy access to nearby Pensilva. the room itself offers an amazing view of the countryside, and the ensuite shower adds convenience. the hosts are friendly and informative, providing helpful recommendations for nearby pubs and restaurants.
The cleanliness of the hotel needs improvement, as there were issues with dust and unemptied bins.

Booked for the Cornish Marathon, Carraholly was a safe haven with hospitable hosts offering a lift to a local hostelry. Lovely surroundings and a peaceful break in warmer months. Rural valley location away from the busy city with breathtaking views. Friendly and welcoming host, beautiful garden with alpaca farm view. Amazing ensuite room with stunning countryside views. Ducks, geese, and chickens on the property added charm. Lottie, the Cocker Spaniel, provided playful fun. Country setting against town setting, a definite win. Nearby pub with friendly staff and great food.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

We recently stayed at a beautiful property in the countryside near Pensilva and had an amazing experience. The hosts, Ted and Cathy, were incredibly kind and made us feel right at home. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed, and waking up to the sight of ducks, geese, and chickens was a lovely bonus. We would definitely book here again!
The only drawback was that the bed in our room wasn't very comfortable for me. However, this small issue didn't overshadow the fantastic experience we had at this countryside retreat.

The room was well equipped with everything we could need and more, including a breakfast bar, fridge, toaster, and microwave. The extra little details like cereal in the room were lovely. Kath and Ted were incredibly kind and welcoming, even opening the gate for us upon arrival and giving us helpful advice and directions. It was a delight to wake up to see their friendly dog and other animals on the property. The location, although rural, was perfect for exploring Bodmin Moor and the wider South East part of Cornwall. The views across the countryside were beautiful, and the peacefulness of the surroundings was just what we needed. The hosts were friendly and made us feel at home. The nearby pub recommended by Kath had great food and friendly staff. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again.
